Principal's Message
Dear Cutler Elementary School Families and Community,
I am so excited for the 24-25 school year! Our 1st through 5th grade students will begin school on August 13th at 8am. Our TK and K students will have a parent orientation on August 13th and their first day of school will be August 14th. One major change this year is our dismissal for all students at 3:00 pm. Our school theme this year is HEART of a CHAMPION! #Hardworking #Empathetic #Accountable #Respectful #Trustworthy.
Parents, as your child’s first teacher, you are a vital part of our team. We look forward to your support and collaboration! Additionally, we encourage you to become active by participating in our parent committees such as School Site Council (SSC) and English Learners Advisory Committee (ELAC). We are happy to be using Apptegy this year. This platform will allow us to feed all our media needs. More to come on this. We will continue using ClassDojo and Facebook. Please stay connected by joining ClassDojo and following our Cutler Elementary School Facebook page. If you need support accessing any of these platforms, please stop by the office.
The year begins with many exciting changes. All students in TK - 5th grade will be dismissed at 3:00pm. This change ensures our students receive VAPA, Music, STEAM, PE and/or band throughout the year. Again, there is only one dismissal at 3:00pm! We have some changes to staff assignments in our regular and Dual Immersion (DI) programs.
The following staff are new to Cutler School: Rosalba Valdez, K DI Spanish; Nancy Guzman, 4th Grade DI Spanish; Paulina Guzman, 5th Grade DI Spanish & Calvin Car, Music Teacher. In new grade levels/positions we have Venissa Guadiana, 2nd DI English; Michelle Helm, 3rd grade; Samantha Sandoval, 4th DI English & Melina Ortega, County Class. Also new to our TK program are Claudia Carreon Flores, preschool teacher and Makayla Hernandez, PK Aide. Finally, many of you have already met our New School Secretary Adriana Ortega. We are so excited to welcome our new teammates.
We are here to serve!
Sincerely,
Diana Vides, Principal
