Cutler School Students, Parents, Staff, and Community!

As principal of Cutler Elementary School, it is my pleasure to welcome you to the 2021-2022 School Year! We are excited to begin the school year with in-person learning for all students!  Our school theme this year is We are ONE, ONE team…Limitless.  As one team, we will strive to OVERCOME learning loss, NURTURE college bound wildcats, and ensure EQUITY for all students to maximize learning.  Parents, as your child’s first teacher, you are a huge part of our team. We need and welcome your support and collaboration!

The year begins with a few changes to our staff assignments.  These changes include:  Irma Ramirez & Darlene Isaak– Dual Immersion 3rd Grade Teachers, Valerie Montejano– 4th Grade Teacher, Beth Anders & Miracle Gonzalez – Academic Coaches TK-2/2nd Grade Teachers, Christi Aranzazu & Denise Vanderwall – Academic Coaches 3-5/3rd Grade Teachers, Erin Wandler– Reading Specialist, Katherine Anlauf – PreK/Dual Immersion Academic Coach, Blanca Rodriguez – RSP Teacher, Angie Aguilar – Lead Baker, and Monica Vega - Instructional Aide.

Additionally, we encourage you to become active in our Parent Teacher Association (PTA).  The PTA is a wonderful way for you to share ideas and support our school mission. Our PTA will continue to hold meetings bi-monthly.  Another way to get involved is by participating in our parent committees such as School Site Council (SSC) and English Learners Advisory Committee (ELAC).  You can also stay connected by joining our school Remind App. This will allow you to receive text messages about school information and events.  Finally, please make sure to join your child’s ClassDojo/Seesaw and follow our Cutler Elementary School Facebook page.

Please support us in encoruaging students to follow the Wildcat Way every day by showing respect, making good decisions, and solving problems.  In addtion to the Wildcat Way, we have PBIS Safety Expectations to help keep all of  us safe! We gel in and gel out, we wear our masks correctly, and we maintain social distance. Thank you students, parents, staff and community for doing your part to keep us all safe!
We are here to serve!

Sincerely,

Leanne Cerda, Principal
