As principal of Cutler Elementary School, it is my pleasure to welcome everyone back for another fabulous year! The staff is thrilled that you have entrusted your child’s education to us. This year’s theme is “Exceed All Expectations.” It is our goal this year to create an enriched learning environment that engages each child. We have an excellent teaching staff with a wealth of knowledge and an outstanding support staff, who work in different capacities to support your child’s learning. Parents, as your child’s first teacher, we need and welcome your support and cooperation. Along with your assistance, I am committed to refining our current practices in an effort to foster an optimal learning environment for all.
The year begins with a few additions to our staff. These additions include: Christina Gonzalez – Academic Coach, Corine Gonzalez – Second Grade Teacher, Marina Rangel – Kindergarten Teacher. Welcome to Cutler Elementary!
Additionally, we encourage you to become active in our Parent Teacher Association (PTA). The PTA is a wonderful way for you to share ideas and support the mission of the school. Other ways to get involved include: volunteering in the classrooms, chaperoning field trips, and participating in our parent committees such as School Site Council (SSC) and English Learners Advisory Committee (ELAC).
Finally, I sincerely believe in a school environment that is collaborative in nature and draws on the strengths of all stakeholders. Working together makes a difference in the lives of our students. I look forward to working with all of our College Bound Wildcats, parents, and the community of Cutler Elementary School.
